ICE CREAM…..do I even need to say anything more??It’s homemade, gelatin free, eggless….nothing more is needed to enjoy this good old traditional wonderfully delicious ice cream.I’m more excited to post this homemade ice cream which is prepared with just three ingredients with no fuss. While tasting the homemade cheese cake, it tastes more like vanilla ice cream and I’ve got the idea and browsed. I’ve got this perfect recipe, simple to make and I’ve adapted it. No wonder the ice cream is so delicious and drooling. I had mango at home so I tried Mango ice cream & this can be modified with cocoa powder or coffee flavor, mint flavour, saffron or even strawberry. I have to try many flavors but was thinking about the calories . Don’t bother …just give it a try !!

- Whipping cream -3/4 cup
- Sweetened condensed milk -1 cup
- vanilla essence -1 teaspoon
For Mango flavor
- Mango purée- 1/3 cup
– To start with, whisk the cream till it’s nice, light and fluffy using electric beater for 3 to 5 minutes in the heavy mode. Using electric beater is advisable, because whisking by hand is tiring.
-Then add sweetened condensed milk and whisk again for 3 minutes. Add a teaspoon of vanilla essence and continue whisking for another 2 to 3 minutes until it forms a smooth peak.
-Then transfer it into a freezer safe container and cover it up with aluminum foil.
-After an hour take out the container, now you can find the edges are frozen. Using a fork give it a nice stir, mix well gently and keep it in the freezer again for 6 to 8 hours or overnight.
-Serve it with a sprinkle of finely chopped mixed nuts or chocolate syrup or pralines. It’s the perfect vanilla ice cream.
-For Mango ice cream, add mango purée to this mixture and whisk well & freeze it. Nice …flavorful Mango Ice cream is ready.

–Simply add a teaspoon of cocoa powder to the vanilla ice cream and give it a gentle mix. Freeze as per the instructions and serve it with some chocolate scraping .
